Every wedding reception should have a theme, whether it’s personal or simply something you love. We recently assisted with the styling of a wedding in Port Douglas, transforming Salsa Bar & Grill with an elegant and simplistic, vintage, country feel.

You only live once!

It can be tricky trying to come up with the right buttonhole for the groom, but Vicky and Paul had the perfect solution when they married recently in Port Douglas – a native fern all the way from New Zealand. The perfect reminder of home…

Melbourne bride Danielle still radiated sunshine despite the disappointing wet weather during her recent Port Douglas nuptials.

Danielle's bridesmaid carried a posy of white roses and white Singapore orchids.

Yes it sounds rather strange: using parsley as foliage for your wedding bouquet. But the bright leaves add a splash of color and unique texture. The idea is nothing new; brides in ancient Greece often carried a mix of herbs and blossoms designed with specific meanings and intentions, and modern-day brides like Dee from Sydney are rediscovering the beauty, significance and durability of herbs in their wedding arrangements.
